Overview on Search

When you search by keyword on a site, we use a mechanism by which we search a set of fields (e.g. title, description, topics). Certain fields (e.g. title) may be given more importance when search results are ranked. Every time you search by keyword, whether in a site-wide search, an individual module search, or when searching for related content, the site uses the same process to share results. In more advanced module based searches, there may be additional filters applied to the results and the results can be ordered by factors other than relevance ranking.
