Adding SocioNeeds Index Components

The 2017 SocioNeeds Index, created by Conduent Healthy Communities Institute, is a measure of socioeconomic need that is correlated with poor health outcomes.

All zip codes, counties, and county equivalents in the United States are given an Index Value from 0 (low need) to 100 (high need). To help you find the areas of highest need in your community, the selected locations are ranked from 1 (low need) to 5 (high need) based on their Index Value. See SocioNeeds Index component examples below.

Adding Components

  1. Select SocioNeeds Index from the toolbar.Screen_Shot_2018-01-17_at_9.10.44_AM.png
  2. Choose components to add to your report.
  3. Click Add
  4. Components can be easily deleted, resized, and moved around the page to customize your report when in Edit mode (see Editing Components for more information).
  5. To preview your report, select the Preview button at the top right of the toolbar. To edit the report, select the Edit button.
  6. To save your report, click on the Screen_Shot_2017-12-27_at_1.04.34_PM.png icon on the top left of the toolbar (see Saving Reports for more information).
